The Victorian Flood Data Transfer Project has collected and digitalised all known historical flood information and interpreted regional flood information for Victoria. This along with other information is available on the Department of Sustainability & Environment website 'Catchment Information Mapper' on their website at www.dse.vic.gav.au.
The Commonwealth government has developed a Regional Flood Mitigation Programme. More information on this is available online at www.ema.gov.au.
